Sincere (Sin Sze) Hui, Clinical Psychologist

Sincere believes everyone deserves the right to be understood and respected regardless of their family upbringing, gender, cultural origin or economic status. Sincere is keen to collaborate with clients to explore their insights about themselves via a psychodynamic framework. She can also utilise other modalities such as the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) to work flexibly with individual clients.

She has worked as a school psychologist, as well as crisis work, and has experience working in an inpatient hospital setting.

Common presenting problems she deals with are adjustment disorders, depression, anxiety disorders, borderline personality disorder, and complex trauma. She has an interest in working with young adults.

Sincere is a registered Clinical Psychologist, trained at the University of Sydney (B Psych) and Macquarie University (M Prof Psych). Sincere has been a university medallist and has received numerous academic prizes. She completed her clinical training at the University of Wollongong (M Psych Clinical). She is also a member of the APS Clinical College.

She can offer therapy in other languages and speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin.

Sincere enjoys swimming and spending time with loved ones when she isn’t working. She brings another green thumb to Gymea Lily which is always appreciated.
