Social Work Services at Gymea Lily Psychotherapy Centre
We are currently offering free sessions with our Social Work student, Merit Struck.
Merit Struck is a final-year Bachelor of Social Work student, currently completing her placement at Gymea Lily Psychotherapy Centre as part of her professional training. Merit is available for bookings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
She has gained valuable experience working with children and young people in diverse settings, including a school-based placement in Sri Lanka and several years as an Au Pair, where she also supported children with Autism and ADHD.
During her training at Gymea Lily, Merit has particularly enjoyed expanding her knowledge of the aged care system, the broader social support network, and the mental health system. With a background in refugee support and community volunteering, she brings a compassionate, culturally informed approach and enjoys working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, with a focus on mental health, inclusion, and personal strengths.
